Terms & Conditions

Price and Payment Terms:

Total Estimated Price:

Based on ‘Estimate’ provided to customer. (Subject to change based on unforeseen circumstances or changes requested by the Customer. Payment Methods Accepted:

Cash, Check, ACH Draft, Visa, Mastercard, American Express.

 

Late Payment Fee:

A late payment fee of 1.5% per month (up to the maximum allowed by law) will be applied to any balance not paid within 10 days of the invoice date.

 

Permit Fees:

The estimated price includes typical permit fees. The Customer is responsible for reimbursing Empowering Electrical Solutions for all required permit fees.

Warranties:

Labor Warranty:

Empowering Electrical Solutions LLC warrants its labor for a period of 1 year from the date of final completion. This warranty covers defects in workmanship under normal residential use. If a defect in workmanship occurs during this warranty period, Empowering Electrical Solutions will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace the defective work at no additional cost to the Customer.

 

Exclusions to Labor Warranty: This labor warranty does not cover:

  • Defects or damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, accident, acts of God, or unauthorized alterations or repairs.

  • Normal wear and tear.

  • Issues arising from pre-existing electrical conditions or equipment that were not part of the contracted work.

  • Consequential or incidental damages.

  • Troubleshooting or repairs to systems or components not directly installed or modified by Empowering Electrical Solutions LLC.

 

Material Warranty:

Materials and equipment are subject to the manufacturer's warranty, if any. Empowering Electrical Solutions LLC makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose of any materials or equipment provided. We will pass through any applicable manufacturer warranties to the Customer.

Access to Property:
The Customer agrees to provide Empowering Electrical Solutions LLC and its authorized personnel with reasonable access to the property during normal working hours to perform the agreed-upon work. The Customer will ensure a safe working environment, free from hazards.

 

Permits and Codes:
Empowering Electrical Solutions LLC will obtain necessary electrical permits as required by the local authorities in King, Snohomish, and Skagit Counties, unless otherwise specified in the Description of Work. All work will be performed in accordance with applicable electrical codes and regulations.

 

Limitation of Liability:

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Empowering Electrical Solutions LLC’s liability for any claim, loss, damage, or expense arising out of or relating to the services provided under this agreement, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, shall be limited to the total price paid by the Customer for the services. Empowering Electrical Solutions LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages.

 

Change Order and Cancellation Fees:
Once the Customer has approved the job as outlined in the Description of Work and Empowering Electrical Solutions LLC has purchased the necessary permits, any subsequent changes to the scope of work initiated by the Customer may be subject to additional charges. In the event that the Customer requests changes that necessitate the return of already purchased materials, the Customer agrees to pay a restocking fee of fifteen percent (15%) of the cost of those materials, plus the full, non-refundable cost of any permits obtained for the original scope of work. Any changes to the scope of work will also require a written change order outlining the revised work, any adjustments to the price, and any potential delays in the project timeline. This change order must be signed by both the Customer and Empowering Electrical Solutions LLC before the revised work commences.

Acceptance:
By approving an Estimate, Customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

Important Considerations:

Legal Review:

It is crucial to have this document reviewed by a qualified attorney licensed in Washington State to ensure it complies with all applicable laws and adequately protects your business.

 

Specific Details:

Ensure the "Description of Work" section is very clear and detailed, possibly referencing a separate proposal or estimate.

 

Insurance:

Maintain adequate liability insurance coverage.

 

Licensing:

Ensure your electrical contractor license is current and valid in Washington State.

 

Consumer Protection Laws:

Be aware of and comply with Washington State's consumer protection laws.

 

Manufacturer Warranties:

Obtain and provide documentation for any manufacturer warranties on materials used.
